Clearing Browser Cache Files

Your computer stores copies of frequently accessed pages in the disk cache. This way, the computer doesn't have to retrieve the page from the network each time you view it.  It is advisable that you clear your cache. Each browser requires different steps to complete this process.

Google Chrome:

Click the Chrome menu Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
Select Tools.
Select Clear browsing data.
In the dialog that appears, select the checkboxes for the types of information that you want to remove.
Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete. Select beginning of time to delete everything.
Click Clear browsing data.
Exit and re-launch the browser.

Mozilla Firefox:

Click on the FIREFOX button on the browser toolbar
Click OPTIONS
Select the ADVANCED panel
Click on the NETWORK tab
In the Cached Web Content, click Clear Now
In the Offline Storage section, click Clear Now
Click OK to close the Options window
Exit and re-launch the browser.

Windows Internet Explorer:

Click the Tools button Tools button, point to Safety, and then click Delete browsing history. If you don't want to delete the cookies and files associated with websites in your favorites list, select the Preserve Favorites website data check box.
Select the check box next to each category of information you want to delete.
Click Delete.
Click OK to exit
Exit and re-launch the browser.

Safari:

In the Safari menu bar, click the Safari option.
Select the Preferences link.
In the Preferences window, click the Advanced tab.
At the bottom of the window, select the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox.
Return to the Safari menu bar and click the Develop option.
Select the Empty Caches link.
Exit and re-launch the browser.
